Andrea T. Jacobs was born in Dorchester, Mass., on October 24, 1952 to Morrill O. and Theresa L. (DeNatale) Jacobs. She graduated in 1970 from Arlington High School and continued her education at the University of Colorado.

Andrea was a poet and photographer who worked out of Manchester and Gloucester for most of her adult life. Her works have been donated to the Cape Ann Museum. 

She was a member of the Cape Ann Museum and the Universalist Church in Gloucester.

Andrea died on September 15, 2008 at the Addison Gilbert Hospital, leaving her mother and a brother, William Jacobs of Bonsall, California.

 

Andrea T. Jacobs donated these papers and photographs to the Cape Ann Museum. They consist primarily of her miscellaneous writings, poems, photographs, and personal papers. Also included was a copy of the book The West by Eliot Porter (dispersed in stacks 779).
