Gloucester Daily Times Photograph Collection

In July 2021, the North of Boston Media Group donated approximately one million photographs from the archives of the Gloucester Daily Times to the Cape Ann Museum. Also included are photographic prints from earlier decades as well as the vast newspaper clipping “morgue”. 

Founded in 1888, the Gloucester Daily Times has been documenting the Cape Ann region’s activities ever since. Represented in the collection are photographs by staff photographers including Amy Sweeney, Cristin Gisler Bradley, Paul Bilodeau, Josh Reynolds, Mike Dean, and Bart Piscitello. Photographs date from 1980-2005.
