Cape Ann ARTWaves, produced by 1623 Studios, provides local coverage on the impact the novel coronavirus pandemic is having on artists and arts and culture organizations. The purpose of this show was to showcase individual artists and arts organizations to highlight what’s happening behind the scenes. Due to high demand and viewership, the show outlived the Pandemic and was continued in 2021 and 2022. Over 75 artists, makers, curators, and gallerists have been interviewed in 30–45 minute segments. They include a diverse group across genres, levels of experience, and personal history and connection to Cape Ann.
